Product features:  

1. Fully assembled. Arm installed on a chest plate which can be mounted inside the body of your robot.
2. Each finger has 3 joints that linked mechanically and rotate simultaneously. One degree of freedom design greatly simplify motion control. The fore, middle, ring and little finger have one extra servo to seperate the fingers. The thumb has one extra servo to rotate about the palm. With the combinations of these movements, the robotic hand  can perform very complicated and realistic movements.
3. Joints of arm are operated by standard and high torque servos. The fingers and wrist are operated by steel cables, with the servos mounted in the chest. Total 13 servos controlled by 2 mini-SSC-II servo controllers: fingers - 5 servos, finger seperation - 1, thumb rotation - 1, wrist - 1, forearm rotation - 1,  elbow - 1, upper arm rotation - 1, sholder rotation - 2.


Question 1.  How many degrees of freedom per finger?
  Answer 1.  Each finger has only 1 degree of freedom: each finger has 3 joints that linked mechanically and rotate simultaneously. The fore, middle, ring and little finger have one extra servo to seperate the fingers. The thumb has one extra servo to rotate about the palm.
 
Question 2.  How is it operated?   Servos? or Pneumatics? or electric motors?
